Exmor R CMOS是索尼公司推出的背照式（BSI）CMOS影像传感器技术商标，属于第一代背照式传感器。 该技术通过翻转传统CMOS结构，将光电二极管置于金属线路层上方，使开口率提升至近100%，感光能力达到同尺寸传统传感器的2倍，噪点降低2dB，信噪比提升8dB。
